I've been prescribed Urogesic Blue Tablets for a UTI and I'm hoping to get some insights from those who have used them. I've read the side effects and they seem a bit scary. Has anyone experienced any of the serious side effects? How effective were these tablets for you? I'm particularly interested in knowing how soon they started to work. Also, is the urine discoloration as gross as it sounds? One of the side effects they mentioned was a change in urine or stool color to blue or green. I'm hoping that's just a minor annoyance and not something that will last the entire course of treatment. Thanks in advance for any help!

Be careful with these. They made me super drowsy, but they also knocked out the pain and spasms pretty quickly. The urine color change is just a bit of dye, it’s harmless, I guess. Just a weird side show to the relief.

I didn't experience any serious side effects, but I did have some pretty intense flu-like symptoms for a couple of days. The tablets helped with my discomfort and pain quickly, though. I think it's worth it if you're suffering from a bad UTI.

My mom always told me you can't trust medications that take away the pain but add it elsewhere. But seriously though, if it works, why not? My UTIs have always responded so well to antibiotics, I’ve never even considered something like this.

These tablets worked like a charm for me. Took them a few times with plenty of rest and water. Never experienced any serious side effects, just a bit of dizziness and urine looked blue but who cares if it works, right?

I felt it helped but there has to be a different medication for people who get the allergic reactions. I had a friend who got hives and itching. It was terrible. She couldn’t stop scratching. She had to stop taking them.

I had a terrible reaction to Urogesic Blue. Never again. I had trouble breathing and my face swelled up like a balloon. I was scared to death and ended up in the ER. Turns out, I had an allergic reaction. If you notice any weird symptoms, get help immediately. Better safe than sorry.
