I've recently started taking Valganciclovir 50mg/ml Soln 88ml to manage CMV infections due to a weakened immune system. It's been a bit of a journey, and I wanted to share my experience and hear from others who might be going through the same thing. The medication has been effective in controlling the virus, but the side effects have been challenging. I've experienced some of the more common issues like fatigue, muscle pain, and dizziness, but I've also had some bouts of anxiety and depression, which I think may be related to the medication as well. anyone else experiencing a lot of mental side effects? I'd love to hear your thoughts and any tips on managing these side effects.

Not a fun medication for sure. But it does its job well! I have to say taking it with food really helped me with nausea.

I've had the worst dizziness and fainting spells. It's scary! I had to stop driving for a while until things settled down. Has anyone else had this issue?

I've also been taking Valganciclovir I've had a lot of trouble with electrolyte problems. My doctor recommended drinking lots of fluids to stay hydrated and monitoring my diet for proper electrolyte balance. The fatigue was tough at first, but I think that's gotten better over time.

I've been on this medication for over a year now, and while the side effects were tough at first, they've definitely become more manageable. Just remember to communicate openly with your doctor; they're there to help!

I feel your pain on the night sweats. I started wearing lighter clothing to bed and sleeping with an extra fan on. It helped a little!

I had no idea Valganciclovir could cause depression. This has been a really hard part of my treatment and I'm glad I've found this community. Thank you for sharing and being a starting point for my conversation with my doctor.

I've been on Valganciclovir for a few months now and have had similar experiences. The anxiety and depression have been tough, but my doctor put me on a low dose of anti-depressant to help manage it. I also noticed that eating smaller, more frequent meals helped with the upset stomach and vomiting.

Depression is no joke. I'm glad you all are sharing — it helps to know others are going through the same thing. I hope everyone finds the support they need.

Did you have any weird symptoms like night sweats? It's been so annoying having to change my sheets so often
