Hello, I've recently been prescribed Valtoco for my epilepsy. I'm hoping to hear from others who have experience with this nasal spray. I want to know more about its effects and how it can help with seizure clusters. I'm curious about the side effects too, especially the more serious ones. I want to feel as prepared as possible. Thanks in advance, everyone!

It's super important to report any severe side effects to the FDA. They need to know about it so they can monitor safety. I've had to do it before and it only takes a couple of minutes.

I've had a few false alarms with Valtoco. I thought I felt a seizure coming on, used it, and then nothing happened. Anyone else have that experience? It's a bit weird, but I think it's better to be safe.

I have a question for anyone who's been on Valtoco for a while: have you noticed any changes in your seizure patterns over time? Like, do they get less frequent or intense?

It's great that it works for you, but the side effects can be pretty rough. I've had some pretty bad nose irritation. If anyone else is experiencing this, talk to your doc

So far, it's been a mix. Some months are better, some are worse. It's weird how unpredictable it can be, but Valtoco helps no matter what.

I appreciate the concern, but I think the benefits outweigh the side effects. I had a few episodes of feeling really sleepy, but it was manageable. Just be cautious when you first start using it.

So glad you posted this! I've been on Valtoco for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my seizure clusters. The nasal spray is super easy to use, and it kicks in fast. Just make sure to prime it before your first use.
