Valtoco 5mg Nasal Spray (2x5mg Spray) is a relatively new treatment option for seizure clusters, offering a convenient and potentially lifesaving solution for those who experience these sudden, repeated seizures. As someone who has dealt with seizures for years, I'm always on the lookout for new treatments that could improve my quality of life. Valtoco, containing diazepam, works by calming the brain's activity to stop a seizure. However, like any medication, it comes with a list of potential side effects that can be concerning. I've been reading up on it, and I'm curious to hear from others who might have experience with Valtoco. How effective has it been for managing seizure clusters? What side effects have you encountered, and how did you handle them? Also, for those who have used it, how does it compare to other treatments you've tried in the past? I'm especially interested in hearing about the urgent side effects and the potential risk of suicidal thoughts. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, how did you manage it? Additionally, I'm wondering about the long-term use of Valtoco. Does it lose effectiveness over time, or does it continue to provide the same level of relief?

Honestly, I've been through a lot with seizures, but I got to say Valtoco is the first thing that's managed to keep me going for the long haul. I'm still cautious as always, but it's been a good experience.

I had a friend who was prescribed Valtoco. They had severe dizziness and memory issues for a while after using it. They had to stop because of the dizziness. I haven't tried it myself, but I would definitely be cautious.

It's important to remember that while Valtoco can be a lifesaver, it's not without its risks. I've seen firsthand how it can help, but the potential side effects are no joke. If you or someone you know is considering it, definitely talk to a doctor about all the possible outcomes.

I've been on Valtoco for a year now, and while it's helped with my seizures, I do feel more tired than usual. Is that a common side effect? It's a small price to pay for fewer seizures, but it's something to keep an eye on.

This thread is making me reconsider even trying Valtoco. I mean, shortness of breath? Memory loss? I'm not sure the benefits outweigh the risks for me.

If anyone has questions or is just curious about the side effects list, I attached a link to the FDA's side effects page for Valtoco below. Here’s the link, very helpful and informative. https://www.fda.gov
