So I've just been prescribed Valtoco 10mg Nasal Spray 2x10mg Spr for my cluster seizures. This is the first time I've had a nasal spray for seizures, it's really convenient. My doctor explained it's meant to calm overactive brain activity during a seizure and I can use it at home. Only thing I'm worried about is the side effects, like hallucinations and memory loss. Has anyone had any experience with this meds? I'd love to hear some feedback.

I've heard good things about Valtoco. It's a relief that it can be used at home rather than having to go to the hospital every time. Just make sure you follow the instructions carefully and keep an eye out for any side effects.

Hope it works well for you! Just remember that everyone responds differently to meds. Don't be discouraged if it's not a perfect fit right away. Make sure your doctor understands this, too

Personally, I've had some really bad experiences with other seizure meds. Valtoco was a godsend for me. I have a long history of seizures, so I've just dealt with side effects before. This is the best meds I've had so far

Remember to talk to your doctor now and then, not just when there's a problem. What if you feel like it's not working? Or if you're getting too many side effects? You need a plan

I've had a couple of emergency situations where this has been lifesaving. It's a bit of a hassle but no big deal. The first time I had a seizure is traumatic and life changing. I hope this helps you

Make sure to keep the spray with you at all times. It's no good if you have a seizure and can't access it.

I've seen it mentioned on epilepsy forums, but I haven't heard firsthand experiences. I'm a little worried about the potential for drowsiness. If I can avoid any more side effects, I'd love it!
