I've recently been prescribed Vanflyta 26.5mg Tablets for acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The side effects list is quite extensive and a bit overwhelming. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'm particularly concerned about the serious side effects like allergic reactions and infections. How common are these, and what should I be on the lookout for? Also, are there any tips for managing the more common side effects like diarrhea and stomach pain? Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I had a friend who had shingles while on this medication. It was pretty scary, but she recovered well. Make sure to keep an eye out for any signs of herpes infections as they can be severe.

Glad everyone is sharing their experiences. It's really helpful to know what to expect. I'll keep an eye out for all the signs mentioned and reach out to my doctor if anything seems off. Thank you all!

The serious side effects seem rare, but when they happen, they can be life-threatening. I'd rather be safe and go to the doctor at the first sign of trouble. If you start feeling unusually tired or weak, don’t hesitate to call your doctor.

I've been on Vanflyta for a few months now and the side effects have been manageable. The diarrhea was pretty bad at first, but my doctor prescribed some medication that helped a lot. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body.

I had a really bad allergic reaction to this drug. It started with a rash and then my throat started swelling. I ended up in the ER, and they told me to stop taking it immediately. Please be vigilant about any unusual symptoms.

Has anyone had issues with electrolyte problems? I've been feeling a bit shaky and confused sometimes, and I'm wondering if it's related to the medication.

Be prepared for fatigue. I felt exhausted all the time, but it's worth it if it's helping fight the cancer.

This medication is a lifesaver. It’s helped me so much, and the side effects are a small price to pay. Just keep in mind that the side effects can vary widely. What's bad for some might be nothing for others. Just keep your doctor in the loop.

The most bothersome side effect for me was the headache. It was pretty constant at first, but I managed it with over-the-counter pain relievers. Just make sure to talk to your doctor before taking anything new.

I've heard that some people experience nosebleeds. Anyone else deal with that?
