Varenicline (apo) 0.5mg Tablets: My Journey to Quitting Smoking and the Side Effects
So, I've been on Varenicline (apo) 0.5mg Tablets for about a month now, and I've got to say, it's been a roller coaster. I started taking it to help me quit smoking, and it's definitely reduced my cravings, but the side effects have been a bit tough. I've had some strange dreams and trouble sleeping, but nothing too bad. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this—what was your experience like? Did you have any serious side effects, or was it mostly minor stuff like me? Also, any tips on dealing with the side effects would be super helpful. I know it's supposed to make smoking less enjoyable, but I'm still struggling at times.

I had some weird dreams too. I remember one where I was chasing a giant chicken through a field of flowers. But seriously, it definitely helped me quit smoking. I had some other side effects like a headache and some nausea.
Good luck with the journey! Just remember, it's normal to have cravings, and it's okay if you slip up. The important thing is to keep trying. I had the same side effects you did, and it was rough, but it got better over time.
I can't believe people are having such bad dreams on this stuff. I had some wild dreams, but nothing like what some of you are describing. I guess everyone's experience is different. I was just really relieved to be able to finally quit smoking after years of trying.
Varenicline saved my life. I had tried everything to quit smoking, and nothing worked until this. The side effects were worth it because I finally did it. I'm so glad I stuck with it. I hope it works for you too.
I had a pretty rough time with Varenicline. The side effects were tough to deal with, and I ended up stopping it early. I couldn't handle the mood swings and anxiety. I think it's worth trying, but if you feel like it's too much, don't be afraid to talk to your doctor about it.
I had some really intense mood swings when I was on Varenicline. It was almost like PMS on steroids. But the cravings really went away, and that was a huge relief. I stuck with it and it was worth it, but I was glad when I was done with the whole process.
There are so many side effects listed for this drug that I'm glad I didn't experience any of them! I'm not sure how I would have handled Stevens-Johnson syndrome or anything like that. Just the thought gives me the chills.
So how bad are the cravings when you do slip? Like say you have a cigarette. How does it feel with the drug? Did it really make it not enjoyable or is it just that the pill made it so you weren't obsessively needing one?
I took Varenicline a few years ago. It was a game-changer for me. The side effects weren't too bad—mostly just some vivid dreams and a bit of nausea. But the cravings disappeared, and I haven't touched a cigarette since. It's worth the effort, in my opinion.
