Venlafaxine has been a game-changer for me in managing my anxiety and depression. However, the side effects have been a rollercoaster. I started with 37.5mg tablets, and while it helped with my mood and anxiety, I experienced some nasty side effects initially.

I had trouble sleeping, which wasn't surprising given the anxiety I was trying to tackle, but the dizziness and headaches were brutal. I felt like I was walking around in a fog for the first few weeks.

I also noticed some changes in sexual health, which was unexpected and a bit embarrassing to talk about with my doctor. But I pushed through and now that I am six months in, I feel a lot better than I did before.

If you're considering Venlafaxine, be prepared for some ups and downs. Stick with it, and talk to your doctor about any side effects that are tough to handle. It can get better!

I had the sexual side effects too, it's not all in your head.

I wish my doctor had warned me about the sexual side effects. It would have been nice to be prepared.

I felt like a zombie when I started. It took a few months, but I finally feel like myself again.

I'm on 37.5 mg too, and the insomnia has been killer. Any tips on managing it?
