I've been prescribed Venlafaxine ER 225mg for my anxiety and panic disorder, and I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. I've been on it for about a month now, and while it's helped with my anxiety, I've experienced some side effects that have been tough to deal with. I'm particularly interested in hearing about others' experiences with side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, and nausea. Has anyone else had these issues, and if so, how did you manage them? Also, I've read about the potential for more serious side effects, like seizures and serotonin syndrome. I'm a bit worried about these, so I'd appreciate any insight or advice on what to look out for. Thanks!

I've been on Venlafaxine for a while and had some scary moments with rapid heartbeats and sweating. I ended up in the ER thinking I was having a heart attack. Turns out it was serotonin syndrome. Doctors had to change my meds and monitor my levels. It was a close call!

For those experiencing nausea, try ginger tea or ginger candies. It helped me a ton. Also, make sure to stay hydrated and eat small, frequent meals.

I've been on Venlafaxine ER for about six months now, and it's been a bit of a rollercoaster. The side effects were tough at first, especially the dizziness and drowsiness. I found that switching to a lower dose and then gradually increasing it helped a lot. Talk to your doctor about adjusting your dose if the side effects are too much to handle.

I started Venlafaxine ER and couldn't handle the side effects. My doctor suggested switching to another antidepressant, and it's been much smoother. everyone metabolizes meds differently, and your body might not like this one, but another might work great!

If your doctor doesn't mention it, bring it up, but Venlafaxine can make you more sensitive to sunlight. Wear sunscreen and protective clothing to avoid burns.

I've heard horror stories about withdrawing from this stuff. I'm still on it, but I'm terrified of getting off it. I know it's supposed to be tough, but does anyone have tips?

I had no side effects at all, but Venlafaxine has saved my life
