Verapamil 120mg Tablets: Experiences, Side Effects, and Advice Needed!
I've recently been prescribed Verapamil 120mg Tablets to help manage my high blood pressure and angina. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone else taken this medication? What was your experience like? I'd love to hear about any tips or advice you have for managing side effects or anything else that might help. Side effects to watch for include dizziness, headache, constipation, allergic reactions, liver problems, slow or abnormal heartbeat, severe dizziness, shortness of breath, and swelling. I've heard from my doctor that this medication works by blocking calcium from entering the heart and blood vessel cells, but I’m still curious to hear more about how it affects the body. Any insights or personal stories are welcome!

I’ve been on Verapamil for years and it’s been great for my blood pressure.Just make sure to keep your blood pressure checked regularly. Your doctor can give you advice on this.
I was worried about the slow heartbeat thing, but my doctor assured me it's normal and happens because the med slows down your heart rate. It can be a good thing, but if it gets too slow or abnormal, get it checked out. Stay on top of regular checkups! The head aches are rough, but you get used to the medications.
I think the constipation was the worst part for me. Stool softeners really helped. Also, make sure to talk to your doctor about any other meds you're taking—Verapamil can interact with a lot of things.
I've been on Verapamil for a few months now, and it's been a lifesaver for my angina. The dizziness was a bit tough to deal with at first, but it went away after a week. Just make sure to stay hydrated and take it with food if you can.
I switched from Verapamil to a different calcium channel blocker because of the side effects, but everyone is different. Don't forget to look for side effects in the other meds as well. And listen to your doctor.
