I was recently prescribed Verapamil 2.5mg/ml Inj, 4ml in the hospital to manage my irregular heartbeat. The medication worked quickly to stabilize my heart rhythm, but I've had some concerning side effects. Has anyone else experienced significant issues with this medication? I've read that it can cause serious problems, but I'm wondering if these are rare or more common than stated. I've also noticed some constipation and dizziness, which can be quite uncomfortable. I just want to know if these side effects are worth the benefits of the medication. I'm also curious if anyone has had similar experiences or knows more about how it impacts the body.

It's crazy that something so small can have such a big impact on the heart. I've always taken my heart meds seriously, but this one was a big step. Never knew how important it is that they are injected and monitored in a hospital. Scary stuff.

I was prescribed Verapamil after an episode of atrial fibrillation. It worked well to control my heart rate, but I did experience some constipation. It was manageable with a change in diet, but it's something to be aware of. I haven't had any of the more serious side effects, though.

I think it's important to note that Verapamil can cause a slow heartbeat, which can be dangerous if not monitored properly. Make sure your doctor is keeping a close eye on your heart rate and rhythm if you're on this medication.

I've been on Verapamil for a few months now, and I haven't had any major issues. A few headaches here and there, but nothing too bad. I think it's worth the risk for the benefits it provides. Digideck helps with my overall Heart Health too.

Verapamil really helped me during a heart episode. It's scary when it happens, but this medication works fast. I didn't have any side effects, but I know everyone's different. Just be aware of the signs and talk to your doctor.
