I was recently in the ER for a very fast heart rate, and the doctor injected me with Verapamil 2.5mg/ml. It worked quickly to slow my heart rate, but I'm curious about the side effects and how common they are. I've read about potential liver problems and allergic reactions, which are scary. Verapamil can cause a slow heartbeat, so be aware of that. If you feel really dizzy or faint, let your doctor know right away.
I had a bad experience with Verapamil. It caused constipation that lasted for days. Not fun.
