Verapamil ER 180mg Tablets: Managing Side Effects and Monitoring Health
I recently started taking Verapamil ER 180mg Tablets for my high blood pressure. The medication has been helpful, but I'm concerned about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones listed. Has anyone else experienced any of these issues, and how did you manage them? I want to be prepared and know what to look out for. Additionally, are there any tips for dealing with the more common side effects like dizziness or constipation? I've heard mixed things about increasing fiber intake and staying hydrated, but I'd love some more specific advice.

Sometimes, it’s easier to just eat a balanced diet and exercise more. Always helps with constipation, but still good to have the meds on hand. Just saying...
This sounds like the beginning of a horror movie: 'Check your urine color and stool color regularly!'
I started feeling really fatigued and had some stomach issues. After a conversation with my doctor, we adjusted the dosage a bit and added some stool softeners to help with the constipation. It made a big difference! Also, make sure to take it with food to minimize any stomach issues.
I always thought shortness of breath was just part of the deal with blood pressure meds, but it’s actually a sign to call the doctor. Good to know!
I've been on Verapamil for a while and haven't had any serious side effects. Just a bit of dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Make sure to monitor your blood pressure regularly and keep in touch with your doctor.
Stay vigilant! The combination of symptoms like dark urine and yellow skin is a red flag for liver issues. Always better to get it checked out early.
Remember, everyone's body reacts differently to medication. What works for one person might not work for another. Keep a log of any side effects you experience and discuss them with your doctor. They can help tailor a plan that works best for you.
Be really careful with the symptoms like severe dizziness or fainting. I had a friend who ignored it and ended up in the ER. If you feel anything unusual, don't hesitate to call your doctor. It's better to be safe than sorry.
