I was recently prescribed Vesicare LS 5mg/5ml Suspension for overactive bladder, and although it has helped with the frequent urination, I've experienced some side effects. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'm curious to know how others have managed these issues and if there are any tips or tricks to mitigate them. I've found that the dry mouth is particularly bothersome, and I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to combat this. I've been drinking plenty of water, but it doesn't seem to help much. Additionally, I've had some blurred vision and drowsiness, which has been a bit worrying. I've read about the more serious side effects, but thankfully, I haven't experienced any of those. I'm just looking for some community support and advice on managing these side effects.

I think the benefits outweight the side effects, but it's good to be informed. I've had constipation issue, but it was easy to manage with some diet changes and fiber supplements. Just make sure to stay hydrated and watch your diet.

Drowsiness is a huge issue for me. I've tried adjusting the time I take it, but it still hits me hard. Any other tips?

Vesicare has been a lifesaver for me, but the drowsiness was tough at first. I started taking it right before bed, and that helped a lot. Just be careful with activities that require alertness, like driving, especially when you first start taking it.

Wow, I had no idea about the severe side effects. I'm glad I've only had mild issues so far.

I feel like the biggest issue is the dry mouth. It's annoying, but at least it's not something life-threatening.

I've had a few urinary tract infections since starting Vesicare. It's hard to tell if it's related, but it's something to be aware of. Make sure you keep an eye out for symptoms and get checked out if you think something's off.
