I was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) a few months ago and started treatment with Vidaza 100mg Inj. Azacitidine has been a game-changer for me. It's helped my body's cells grow more normally and slowed down the cancer cells. I wanted to share my experience and hear from others who might be going through the same thing. The urgent side effects are scary, but I've been lucky to avoid them so far. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences or any tips on managing the side effects. Also, is anyone using Azacitidine for AML? Please share your stories.

I'm on my third round of Vidaza and so far, so good. Knock on wood, no major side effects. Just a bit of fatigue and some mouth sores. Gotta love the taste of miracle gel lol

Vidaza is a beast, but it's worth it if it's working. I've had some pretty bad anxiety on it, so my doc prescribed something to help with that. It's made a world of difference.

I wish I had known about the potential for severe skin problems. I had a nasty infection a few weeks back and I think it was due to the meds. Stay vigilant, folks.

I had a pretty bad reaction to the first dose—fever, chills, the works. But my doctor adjusted the dose and it's been smoother sailing since then. Definitely communicate with your healthcare team.

I have yet to experience any of the really bad side effects. I hope it stays that way. Here's to keeping our spirits up through this battle!

I'm on Vidaza for AML and it's been a rollercoaster. The side effects are rough, but my oncologist has been great about managing them. Just take it one day at a time.
