I was recently prescribed Viibryd for depression and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects listed. Has anyone else used this medication? What were your experiences like? I'm particularly concerned about the more serious side effects and how common they really are. I've read that it's important to take it with food, so I'm wondering if anyone has tips on how to incorporate it into their daily routine. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

If any of you experience serotonin syndrome, it’s serious. Just wanted to throw that out there. I had a friend who went through it and it’s no joke.

I stopped taking it after a couple of weeks. Headaches were bad and I got really dizzy all the time. But I think it might have helped with my mood a bit before I stopped taking it. I don't think I'll try it again, but it's worth a shot if you really don't think it's working for you.

Side effects suck, but I’m glad my depression is getting some relief. I notice my moods are improving and things feel a bit less gloomy.

I started Viibryd a few weeks ago and it's been a lifesaver so far. I was really nervous about the side effects, but I only have some mild nausea sometimes and that's mostly when I forget to take it with food. On the plus side, my energy levels have improved and I'm sleeping better.

I swear by Viibryd! I had some initial issues with diarrhea and feeling a bit jittery, but those passed like 2-3 weeks in. I've had no issues with seizures or anything serious, thankfully. It's actually helped me feel more motivated and less anxious, which I was not expecting. Sometimes I forget and take it without food and get an upset stomach but it’s a small price to pay!

Has anyone had any luck with weaning off Viibryd? The last thing I want is to experience any withdrawal symptoms. I can't imagine how bad that would be like.
