Vincristine (Vincasar PFS 1mg/ml Inj, 1ml): My Experience and Questions about Side Effects
I've recently started treatment with Vincristine (Vincasar PFS 1mg/ml Inj, 1ml) and am trying to prepare for the potential side effects. The list is intimidating, and I'm looking for some perspective from others who have been through this. I'm particularly worried about the nervous system problems and kidney issues. Has anyone else had these, and how did you manage? Also, what are some strategies for dealing with the more common side effects like hair loss and constipation? Any tips or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I had severe nausea, but my doctor prescribed some anti-nausea meds that helped a lot. Don't hesitate to ask for more support if you need it.
The nervous system issues were scary, but my doctor monitored them closely. Make sure you're in regular contact with your healthcare team. It's important to report even minor symptoms.
I’m really sorry you have to deal with these. But try to keep a balanced diet, and always stay in touch with your doctor. I am sure you’ll make it through!
Make sure to stay hydrated. It helps with a lot of the side effects, including constipation and fatigue.
I went through this, and I know how scary it can be. But trust me, the support from family and friends, as well as the medical team, is crucial. Hang in there!
I had some vision changes that lasted for a few days after treatment. It was weird, but it's worth knowing that not all side effects are permanent.
