Vitafol-OB + DHA: Essential for Pregnancy or Breastfeeding?
I was recently prescribed Vitafol-OB (30) Tabs + DHA (30)caps by my doctor. These are supposed to be great for pregnant and breastfeeding women, with essential nutrients like folic acid, iron, calcium, and DHA for the baby's brain and eye development. However, I read the side effects and they seem really scary. Has anyone else taken these and had any issues? I'm really worried about the potential side effects like allergic reactions, throwing up blood, and stomach cramps. Let me know if you've had any experiences, positive or negative.

I had some bad stomach cramps after taking these, but then I realized I was taking them on an empty stomach. Try taking them with food and see if that helps.
I'm on my second round of these with my second pregnancy. No issues at all. Just take them as prescribed and you should be fine!
Just started these myself and I must say they are huge. I can barely swallow them
I took these during both my pregnancies and my kids are perfectly healthy. The side effects are rare, so don't worry too much about them.
