I was prescribed Vitamedmd One Rx W/quatrefolic Cap by my doctor for my first pregnancy, and I'm curious to hear about other women's experiences with it. It's supposed to be a comprehensive prenatal vitamin with a special form of folate. I've been taking it for a few months now and haven't experienced any side effects yet. How has it been for other women? Any tips on managing potential side effects or maximizing the benefits?

I'm on my third pregnancy and this is my go-to prenatal vitamin. I think it's helped me avoid any major issues with my previous pregnancies. Plus, the Quatrefolic is really good for preventing neural tube defects. Just wish it didn’t cost an arm and a leg!

I heard that the special folate in this one is actually easier for your body to use, which is great for preventing birth defects. Definitely worth the switch, in my opinion.

Another one with heartburn here. Taking an antacid before bed seems to help, though.

I had a really bad reaction to it. Started vomiting and had some weird rash on my chest. I had to stop taking it immediately and switched to a different brand. I would be cautious if you have any skin issues, it might be worth calling the doc and asking if you're at a higher risk.

I just started taking it and got really bad heartburn. Anyone else experience this?

Has anyone tried this for breastfeeding? I’m not sure if it’s okay to continue taking during this phase.
