I recently started using Vuity 1.25% Opth Sol 2.5ml for my presbyopia and I have to say, it's a game-changer. The 'pinhole effect' it creates really helps me see up close more clearly. However, I did experience some minor side effects like eye irritation and temporary dim vision, but nothing too severe. I thought I'd start this thread to share my experience and hear from others who have tried Vuity. How has it worked for you? Have you experienced any side effects? I'm curious to know if the temporary nature of the effects is worth it for you.

This could be useful for me. I've been having trouble focusing on small print since I've gotten older. I'm going to try it out and see if it works for me.

I've been using Vuity for a few weeks now and it's been a lifesaver. I can read without my glasses again! I did have some mild headache for the first few days, but it went away. I haven't experienced any severe side effects, but I'm definitely vigilant about it.

I think this is a great alternative to reading glasses. The effect lasts for a few hours, which is perfect for my daily routine. I haven't had any major side effects yet, just some minor eye redness, but it's worth it to me.

I'm not sure I'd want to use this drop. My mom had a really hard time with a retinal tear and I don't want to risk it.

I've heard about retinal tear or detachment as a side effect, which is scary. Has anyone else heard about this?

I can't believe the cost of these things. It was really expensive when I went to the pharmacy.

I've been using Vuity for a while now. At first, I was really hesitant because of the potential side effects, especially the retinal issues. But after a few weeks, I haven't had any problems. I definitely recommend talking to your doctor about it before you start. Also, I would suggest using it in the evening because the effect can last for several hours.

Interested to know more about this specific eye drop! Will I need a prescription for it?

I have pre-existing retinal disease and this medicine is a no-go for me.

I tried Vuity and I experienced some pretty severe eye irritation. It was so bad I ended up having to call the doctor to find out if it was a side effect. Apparently, it is possible. However, it turned out that I was very allergic to one of the preservatives. I would definitely recommend anyone who tries it to be cautious.
