I had Marcaine for labor, and my nurse told me that if I had a reaction, they'd have to deliver the baby quickly. Made me nervous but everything was fine in the end. It's all about knowing the risks.
I can't believe how many side effects this has. I wish they’d just warn us more in the beginning. Why would you use this if you know you're allergic?
I've never had any problems with Marcaine but I'm always nervous when they have to use it. Maybe it's time to ask for a less potent anesthetic?
