I was prescribed Percocet 10/325 Mg for a recent injury and the list of possible side effects frightens me. I've heard stories from friends about the drowsiness and constipation, but some of the rare side effects listed seem far more serious. Has anyone else had bad experiences with this drug? It's making me reconsider whether pain management is worth the potential risks. We are talking about breathing difficulties, hallucinations, and even adrenal gland problems! Is it worth it?

My doctor said that the risk of severe side effects is low, but it's still scary to think about. I guess it's a risk-reward thing. I'd rather avoid opioids altogether.

I was on Percocet for a few weeks after surgery and had terrible constipation. It was absolutely miserable but worth it to keep pain at bay. I heard some people get flu-like symptoms with it too.

I had a friend who took this and she developed a severe rash. She ended up in the hospital with a bad allergic reaction. Be careful, please!

The dizziness is bad as well. I've actually fainted a couple of times. I wouldn't say it's worth it for me.

I had a friend who took Percocet and ended up with Stevens-Johnson syndrome. It was horrifying. I'd avoid this drug if I could.

But what about the long-term effects? I've read that opioids can cause issues with your endocrine system. It worries me.

I've been on Percocet for a year or so, and I've not experienced any of the horrible side effects. It's been a great help for my back pain. My doctor says the risk of side effects is low, especially compared to the pain relief it provides.
