I've been prescribed Combigan 0.2/0.5% Solution 15ml for glaucoma, and I'm a bit concerned about the side effects listed. The urgent side effects section is particularly alarming, and I'm wondering if others have had similar experiences or concerns. The possibility of severe allergic reactions, changes in eyesight, and even heart problems is scary. I've read that it contains brimonidine and timolol, both of which help lower pressure in the eye, but I'm not sure how common these side effects are or if there are alternative treatments. Has anyone had positive experiences with this medication that can reassure me? I'm really hoping it works, but I need to weigh the risks carefully.

I tried Combigan and it irritated my eyes so much I couldn't stop rubbing them. I had to switch to something else immediately. I think it was the brimonidine that didn't agree with me,

Has anyone tried other medications for glaucoma? I'm considering switching if the side effects are too much to handle

I actually have had positive experiences with Combigan. I haven't had any serious side effects, and the irritation I had in the beginning disappeared after a few weeks. It seems to depend on the individual.

I had to stop using Combigan because it caused severe eye irritation and redness. It was so bad that I had to seek medical attention. Turns out, I'm allergic to one of the ingredients. If you start feeling discomfort, don't wait it out. Go to the doctor immediately,

Serious heart problems as a possible side effect of an eye drop scare me more than any other symptoms. It's hard to believe eye drops can cause this

I've found that using artificial tears before and after applying Combigan helps reduce the irritation. A friend had the same problem

I've been using Combigan for a few months now, and while I haven't experienced any serious side effects, I do get some minor eye irritation and occasional burning. It's manageable, but I can see how it could be uncomfortable for others. Just make sure to keep your doctor in the loop if you notice anything unusual

I swear sometimes they throw those dire warnings in on purpose to scare you. But it's better to be safe than sorry

The eye pain combined with the sudden blur in my vision though. That was not nice

Brimonidine and timolol are common in glaucoma treatments, but everyone reacts differently. If you're having issues, talk to your doctor about adjusting the dosage or switching to a different combo
