Terazol 7 Vaginal Cream is an antifungal medication commonly prescribed to treat vaginal yeast infections. It works by stopping the growth of the yeast that causes the infection. While it is generally effective, there are some serious side effects you should be aware of. The medication can cause severe allergic reactions, including rash, hives, itching, and swelling of the face and throat. Additionally, it can cause irritation at the site of application, fever, and flu-like symptoms. In rare cases, it may lead to a severe skin reaction called toxic epidermal necrolysis, which can be life-threatening. This is an overview of the potential risks, but always consult with your doctor before starting any new medication.

The severe skin reaction sounds terrifying. I'm glad I'm not dealing with this infection, but if you are, please be cautious and monitor any changes in your skin or overall health. If something doesn't feel right, get it checked out.

I had a terrible experience with Terazol 7. I developed a severe rash and swelled up like a balloon. I had to go to the ER and it was really scary. I would avoid this cream if possible.

I'm worried about the irritation at the site of application. Anyone have tips on how to minimize this? Like, should I use it with a specific kind of applicator or something?

Why do some people get such severe reactions? I thought antifungal creams were generally safe. I'm going to double-check with my doctor before using any medication.

If you feel like you're having an allergic reaction, don't mess around. Go to the ER right away. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Has anyone experienced any of the severe side effects mentioned? I'm really nervous about starting this treatment.
