I've been using Triple Antibiotic Plus Oint 30gm for minor cuts and scrapes, and it's been great for preventing infection. However, I just read the side effects and realized I never would have known if a severe allergic reaction occurred and only got worse. I've heard of allergies to antibiotics before, but I've never seen such a comprehensive list for an over-the-counter product. Has anyone else had experience with this product and or seen these symptoms? I wanted to see what other users have experienced.

I've used this ointment for years and never had any issues. But I am more sensitive to drugs than most people.

I heard people who put it on burns have reported worsening pain. I've had to tape my fingers together to keep from scratching it, because it makes the skin burn more than a scab would. It's a real nightmare.

I've always been cautious with medications, but this list of side effects is insane. I'm glad I read this before using it again. I think I will avoid it now, and instead use some other antibacterial spray. I'll probably read the directions on the box first for the spray, just to be sure.

I used this once on a small burn and it seemed to help a lot but the pain relief lasted forever and a lot longer than what was expected. I guess it really numbs the area.

A reaction with peeling skin sounds horrible. I have always thought that itching was just a minor inconvenience. Is it normal to feel skin peeling sensation and if so what should you do?

Wow, I had no idea this stuff could cause such severe reactions. I've used it a few times with no issues, but I'll definitely be more cautious now. Especially with the swelling and burning, does it hurt a lot?

I've never had a reaction, but I've only used it on small cuts. I would not recommend using it on larger wounds or burns without consulting a doctor first. That seems more dangerous. The list of symptoms seems scary enough to just avoid the pain relief and go for the safety.

I had a weird reaction to it once. My skin got really red and itchy, but it went away after a few hours. Maybe it's not as severe as the list makes it sound. Also I got some clarity on this when I talked to my doctor. I should ask mine for a review.
