The COVID-19 vaccine rollout has been one of the most significant events in recent history, and with this comes a lot of curiosity and misinformation about the vaccine's effects in our bodies. I've heard various stories ranging from no side effects at all to symptoms that will scare you. As a community, we should demystify the COVID-19 vaccine side effects. Let's share our experiences and talk about what actually happens in your body post-vaccine. What were your personal experiences? Did you encounter any unusual side effects? How long did they last? Let's keep the conversation respectful and evidence-based.

I got the Pfizer vaccine and felt like I had a mild case of the flu for a day. Felt totally fine the next day!

I got the vaccine and now I can't stop dancing! Just kidding, but I did feel like I had the world's worst hangover for a day. Totally worth it to protect myself and others.

I was terrified of getting the vaccine because of all the misinformation out there. But after doing my own research and talking to my doctor, I decided to get it. I'm so glad I did because it turned out to be a lot better than expected!

I didn't have any side effects from my first dose of AstraZeneca and neither did my boyfriend. But on the second dose, we both had headaches and felt extremely nauseous. It lasted almost a week and my boyfriend was so ill he could barely leave his bed. I'm not sure if that was just fluke or something more people should know about.

Moderna here. My arm was sore for a few days and I had a slight fever, but honestly, it was way better than catching COVID. Highly recommend getting vaccinated.

I had a really bad reaction to the J&J vaccine. I had to be admitted to the hospital. I'm not sure if I should get the second dose.

I work in a hospital and have had all 3 available vaccines. The side effects have been minimal, and I will still be getting my booster. The covid vaccines are safe and effective. I also had covid itself and it was much, much worse than any vaccine I've had.

The COVID-19 vaccines are designed to trigger an immune response, which is why some people experience side effects. It's a good sign that your body is building protection.

My friend swore they felt like they had the plague after their second dose. I didn't want to believe them, but now I'm a little scared to get mine
