I was prescribed Sinemet 10-100mg Tablets for my Parkinson's disease, and I'm curious about the most common side effects. Has anyone experienced any issues with dizziness, nausea, or anxiety? How did you manage them? Also, what should I do if I have any of the more serious side effects like hallucinations or unusual urges?

I've had some scary experiences with hallucinations. It's important to monitor your behavior and mood changes closely. If you notice anything alarming, contact your doctor immediately.

I was really surprised by the discoloration in my saliva and urine. It’s harmless, but it can be a bit alarming at first. My doctor assured me it’s just a side effect of the medication.

I was surprised by the dry mouth. I’m constantly sipping water now.

Be careful with the sudden sleepiness side effect. I had a couple of close calls where I nearly fell asleep behind the wheel. Now, I make sure to take a nap during the day if I'm feeling tired.

I've been on Sinemet for a couple of years now, and the most common side effects I've experienced are dizziness and trouble sleeping. I manage them by taking my medication with food and avoiding caffeine in the evening. Always talk to your doctor if you're having issues.

I’m curious if anyone has tried alternative treatments alongside Sinemet? I’m thinking about acupuncture but I’m not sure if it will interfere with my medication.
