I've recently been prescribed Desoximetasone 0.05% Cream for my eczema, and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. The leaflet lists some serious side effects like signs of Cushing's syndrome or high blood sugar. Has anyone else experienced these issues? Or are these just rare and unlikely to happen? I'd love to hear from people who have used this cream and what their experience was. Also, any tips on how to manage the side effects if they occur?

Side note: If you're on this for a while, make sure to get regular check-ups. High blood sugar is no joke.

I find the cream very effective, but the thought of Cushing's syndrome scares me. Anyone else worried about this?

I think the local irritation is just something you have to deal with. I used a moisturizer after applying the cream and it helped a lot.

Just started using it and already experiencing the burning sensation. Is this normal? Should I tough it out or consult the doctor again? Thanks!

Be careful with this stuff—it's strong. I had some weird mood swings and fatigue, so I talked to my doctor and we adjusted the dosage.
