I've been prescribed Ativan 1mg Tablets for anxiety and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. The list is quite long and some of them sound quite serious. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this medication and can share their insights on the side effects. Are the urgent side effects really that rare? What about the other possible side effects like dizziness or drowsiness? How have you managed them?

I always felt like I was walking on a tightrope with Ativan. One moment I was calm, the next I was feeling these weird side effects.

I read that the urgent side effects are rare, but honestly, I'd rather not risk it. I'm thinking of switching to something else.

Ativan was a game-changer for me when I got it right, and the side effects weren't that bad. I tapered down my dose to 0.5mg. After that depression and anxiety started coming back (I had to re-dose at 1mg). Try to use the lowest dose that works.

The increased interest in sex was definitely a weird one. But seriously, if you feel anything really bad, call your doctor.

Seriously, the worst part for me was the memory problems. I'd forget things that happened just a few minutes ago. It was scary.

I was on Ativan for a while and the drowsiness was pretty bad at first. It got better after a few weeks but I still felt a bit groggy in the morning. As for the urgent side effects, I didn't experience any of those thankfully.

Be careful with this stuff. My friend ended up in the ER with some weird allergic reaction. Turns out it was the Ativan.

I had a weird experience where I felt like I was in a dream. What I thought was memory loss turned out to be just that it didn't seem like things were real. Scary, but not life-threatening.
