I've been prescribed Procrit 2,000 U/ml 1ml Sd Vial for anemia due to kidney disease and wanted to discuss with others who have experience with it. What are the pros and cons? How do you manage the side effects? I'm particularly interested in hearing from those who have used it for a long time. Thank you!

Anyone else experienced extreme fatigue while on Procrit? I feel like I'm constantly tired, even with the increased red blood cell count.

Be careful with Procrit, folks. It can cause high blood pressure and even seizures in some people. Make sure you're closely monitored by your doctor. Also, keep an eye out for any signs of allergic reactions; they can be severe.

I tried Procrit and it didn't work for me. I switched to another medication and it was more effective with fewer side effects. It's worth exploring other options if you're not seeing improvement.

This sounds terrible. I'm considering other options.

Procrit has been a lifesaver for me. It's kept my blood counts up and I haven't needed transfusions in years. The side effects are manageable, mostly just some irritation at the injection site. My doctor kept a close eye on me for high blood pressure and other serious issues.
