I've been recently prescribed Zituvimet 50mg-500mg Tablets to help manage my type 2 diabetes. The doctor explained that it combines sitagliptin and metformin to control blood sugar levels. Has anyone else been on this medication? What side effects have you experienced? Any tips for managing them? I'm particularly worried about the more serious side effects like lactic acidosis, pancreatitis, and Stevens-Johnson syndrome. How common are these, and what should I be on the lookout for?

I switched to Zituvimet after my other diabetes medication wasn't working well. The transition was rough at first with some stomach issues, but it's been smooth sailing since. Just make sure to talk to your doctor about any concerns and get regular check-ups. The side effects are definitely manageable, and the benefits of having better blood sugar control are worth it.

My aunt was on Zituvimet and she had a rough time. She experienced severe pain in her stomach and back, and it ended up being pancreatitis. She had to stop taking it immediately and she had to be hospitalized for a few days. I'm just saying be careful!

This medication helped me get my blood sugar levels under control, but I did experience some side effects like diarrhea and bloating. I ended up switching to a different medication because the side effects were too much to handle. But for some, it seems to work well without many issues.

I've heard mixed reviews about this medication. Some people swear by it, while others have had really bad experiences. If you're considering it, make sure to weigh the pros and cons and talk to your doctor about alternatives if necessary.
