I've been prescribed Tolmetin Sodium 600mg Tablets for arthritis pain, but the list of possible side effects is scary. Has anyone else taken this medication? What were your experiences? Were the side effects worth the benefit of pain relief? I've read that it can cause serious issues like stomach bleeding and kidney problems. Should I be worried? I want to manage my pain, but not at the risk of my health. Any advice would be appreciated!

Tolmetin is serious business and I've seen people struggle with serious reactions. I would keep a close eye on any of the symptoms mentioned and have a plan B ready if they get too bad. Don't wait too long if you notice something not right. But for now, you should be fine, many people do take it daily

You should definitely talk to your doctor about any concerns. They can monitor your kidney function and adjust your dosage if needed. Stay vigilant with those symptoms.

I had some stomach issues like nausea and heartburn. It was manageable but I keep an eye on the bleeding symptoms too. As long as you're not experiencing any serious side effects and have discussed them with your doctor, I think it's worth it. But if you do, you may need to consider another treatment.

I had to switch to Celecoxib because of severe stomach pain and possible changes in urine output. I couldn't risk my kidneys, so it's important to monitor for these symptoms. Diet and other lifestyle changes also helped for pain relief and I found a way to tolerate the arthritis on a daily basis

Have you considered other NSAIDs or natural remedies? Sometimes a combination of both can work well. I've had good luck with celecoxib and some physical therapy.

I've been on Tolmetin for a few months now and I didn't have any issues.

My doctor always told me that NSAIDs are not meant for long-term use because of the risks. Always keep an eye out for any warning signs and consult your doctor.

I've seen some very serious allergic reactions. Please pay attention to any skin changes or trouble breathing. Be very careful, especially when starting a new medication.

I've had good luck with Tolmetin, and I know it works great for many people. But the side effects are real. I think it's worth a shot if your doctor says so, but be prepared for anything.

I had a friend who had to go to the ER for severe chest pain. Turns out the Tolmetin was causing it. Scary stuff, so yeah, be careful.
