I had a friend who took this and had some serious complications. I would be very careful and make sure you are basically monitored.
I had a bad experience with Heparin. I got these weird burning sensations on the soles of my feet, and it was really frightening. Turned out to be a serious side effect, and I had to switch to a different medication.
I didn't know Heparin could cause such severe side effects. I guess I'll be sticking to aspirin for my blood clots. Thanks for the heads-up, though!
I've had to give Heparin injections to a family member before, and the changes in skin color at the injection site were concerning. Definitely keep an eye out for that one. Also, talk to a pharmacist about what you need to know.
