Since Ketamine is often used for anesthesia and pain relief, I'm curious about what people have experienced with it. I've heard it can cause some pretty serious side effects, especially if you're not expecting them. I'd love to hear from anyone who has firsthand experience or knowledge. Is it as bad as it sounds? What are the worst of the worst side effects? What should someone expect? Are there any tips to handle the side effects?

Be prepared for the disconnection feeling. It's really something else. But seriously, talk to your doctor about all the side effects. It's a strong drug and you need to be aware of what can happen.

The main side effects you should be worried about are the breathing and heart issues. My mom went through it and it freaked me out. Get help immediately if you notice any of those signs.

I've seen some reports of severe allergic reactions which can be life-threatening. It's crazy how different people can react to the same drug.

I've used it for pain relief and the disconnection is really interesting, but I've never had any of the serious side effects mentioned.

I had a pretty bad reaction to it and had to stop my treatment. It's a shame because it really helped my depression, but the liver issues and abnormal heart rhythms were just too much to handle.
