I've been using Zinc Oxide 20% Ointment to treat my baby's diaper rash and it seems to work well. I apply it after every diaper change and it forms a protective barrier that keeps moisture and irritants away from the skin. However, I've noticed that it can be a bit messy to apply and tends to leave residue on clothing and bed sheets. Has anyone else had this issue? I'd love to hear about your experiences with this product and whether you've noticed any side effects. Does anyone know better alternatives if zinc oxide is not effective or causes issues?

I really don't see why anyone would pay more than a couple of bucks for this stuff. I ended up buying a local store brand and it works just as well as the name brands. It has the exact same ingredients and works just as well. No point in spending extra money on a brand name.

Does anyone know if there are any natural alternatives to Zinc Oxide ointment? I'd prefer to use something more natural if possible.

I've also seen a lot of advertisements for various brands - any recommendations on which ones to buy? I can't think of any brands right now, but I've heard that some are more effective than others.

I think the biggest issue with this ointment is how thick it is. I find it a hassle to apply some times. Plus, it's quite expensive. I've tried other brands, but this one seems to be the most effective. I would be open to other ideas to try.
