I was recently prescribed Nicardipine 20mg Capsules for my high blood pressure and angina. I've read about the possible side effects, but I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. Are the side effects manageable or does it have a significant impact on daily life? Are there any specific tips for reducing the side effects, or does it generally cause more issues? I'm also interested in hearing about long-term experiences - Does it still work well after a few months of use? I've seen discrepancies about its efficacy and I am eager to hear what others have to say.

I started taking Nicardipine a few months ago, and it's been great for my blood pressure. I didn't experience any severe side effects, but I did notice some flushing and headaches initially. I found that taking it with food helped to reduce those side effects. As for long-term use, I haven't noticed any decrease in efficacy, and my doctor is happy with my progress.

I always knew that medication side effects were real, but wow, this one knocked me over

I've been on Nicardipine for about a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my blood pressure. I did experience some dizziness and tiredness at the beginning, but those symptoms subsided after a few weeks. Just make sure to take it at the same time every day and stay hydrated. It's also helped with my angina, so I'm really glad I started taking it.

I've been on Nicardipine for a few years now, and it's been great for my angina. I did experience some flushing and headaches initially, but those side effects went away after a few months. I think it's a good medication overall, and I'm glad I stuck with it.

I had to switch off of Nicardipine because it made me feel so weak and tired. I'm glad I found something that works better for me, but it was a struggle at first. I wish I had known more about the side effects before I started taking it.

Has anyone else experienced significant weight gain or swelling in the arms or legs while taking Nicardipine? I've heard that these can be serious side effects, but I'm not sure if they're common. I've been taking it for a few months and haven't noticed any changes yet, but I want to be prepared just in case. Anyone???

Me neither. I lost a few pounds and got a bit weaker, but no real issues. I was actually sweating more from the exercise and that helped me feel stronger overall. For me, Nicardipine was a good choice.

Be careful, this stuff can mess you up if you're not ready for it. I've heard of some people having some crazy side effects and symptoms, but I had none. I do know someone who passed out from the dizziness, though, so be ready for that. And the flushing? Definitely weird, even after a few months.

I took Nicardipine for a while, but the dizziness was just too much for me. I had to switch to a different medication. It did help with my blood pressure, but the side effects were not worth it for me.
