Procysbi 300mg is a drug used to treat nephropathic cystinosis, a rare genetic condition where cystine builds up in various parts of the body, damaging organs like the kidneys and eyes. The medicine helps in removing excess cystine and can slow down or prevent organ damage. I've just started taking Procysbi, and I'm curious to know what others' experiences are with this medication. What side effects have you noticed? Are there ways to mitigate them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've been on Procysbi for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for managing my cystinosis. The side effects were tough at first, especially the stomach issues, but my doctor recommended taking it with food, and that helped a lot.

I just started taking Procysbi last month. I've been really nervous about the potential side effects, especially the severe ones. Have any of you experienced anything really bad that I should be on the lookout for?

The most annoying side effect for me has been the eye irritation. It's not terrible, but it's definitely noticeable. I started using some eye drops, and it's helped a bit. Anyone else deal with this?

I know it's not fun to talk about, but has anyone dealt with fibrosing colonopathy? I've been hearing a lot about it from my doctor, and I'm starting to get a bit worried. I don't know if it's just the stress talking or I'm just paranoid.
