I was prescribed Pramipexole ER 3mg Tablets for my restless legs syndrome. I've heard it can help with Parkinson's disease too. The doctor told me it releases slowly to help with movement issues. Can anybody confirm this, or share any experiences with it? I want to know what to expect, especially since there are some serious side effects listed. Has anyone experienced the more common side effects, like headaches or fatigue? Or, maybe the more serious ones, like uncontrollable urges or sudden sleepiness?

I honestly didn't feel like it was worth the risk for me. I quit taking it after feeling real dizzy. It was scary and it felt like I was going to pass out. I never want to experience that again.
I wish I could do a little less sleeping and a little less dreaming. I feel like I'm in a constant haze and it's starting to affect my day to day life.
I've experienced some vivid dreams since I started taking this. It's a little freaky, but I guess it could be worse.
This drug saved my life. I have Parkinson's and it's made a world of difference. The side effects aren't fun, but they're manageable. My doctor warned me about the urinary symptoms, which are actually more common than you'd think. Go easy on the fluids if it happens.
The fatigue is real. Make sure you have time to sleep it off. I spend all day sleeping due to the fatigue and then I can't sleep at night because of the vivid dreams. I'm actually considering a different med because of it.
I never experienced uncontrollable urges, but I did have some memory issues. It was a little scary sometimes, and I was glad I didn't have to quit the meds. But it does make me feel like the drug has some serious possible downsides. Be careful!
I've been on this for a few months now. Definitely helps with my symptoms. I did have some headaches at first, but they went away. Just make sure to take it at the same time every day!
Severe uncontrollable urges, yeah, I had that. It wasn't just a little bit of extra snacking in the evening. I was buying things online and completely forgetting about it, and then I'd wake up to delivery notifications and realize I had no idea what I was buying. I had to stop taking the drug because of it. I never want to experience that again.
