I've recently been prescribed Prednisone 50mg tablets for inflammation and immune system regulation to help treat my allergies. I'm curious about the possible side effects, particularly the rare but serious ones. I've read about some potentially life-threatening issues like allergic reactions, infections, and even organ problems. Can anyone share their experiences or advice on how to manage these risks? Also, what are some of the more common side effects, and how can I cope with them? I know that severe symptoms need immediate medical attention, but I'm also interested in the less urgent issues.

I got a weird rash when I started taking Prednisone. Turns out it was an allergic reaction. Definitely something to keep an eye on!

My doctor warned me about the sleep problems and it was true. But I got used to it. Just make sure to talk to your doctor if these side effects become too hard to handle!

I've heard some horror stories about Prednisone, but for me, it's been mostly manageable. Just keep an eye on those symptoms and don't hesitate to call your doctor if something feels off. And definitely avoid steroid withdrawal by tapering off if you have to.

I wish someone had told me about the sleep disturbances. It took me a while to adjust, but now I'm used to it. Just make sure you get enough rest and maybe talk to your doctor about managing it if it gets tough.

Watch out for mood swings, especially if you're sensitive to medication. I had to adjust my dosage and it made a huge difference. Always talk to your doctor if you feel off!

I took Prednisone for a skin condition and the weight gain was insane! I felt like a different person. Stick to a healthy diet and exercise routine to minimize these side effects.

I've been on Prednisone for a while now, and the increased appetite and weight gain were definitely noticeable. I started keeping a food diary and exercising more to combat those side effects. It's a bit of a struggle, but it's manageable.

I've been dealing with excessive sweating and it's been annoying! Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this side effect?

Spoke to my doctor about the side effects and he said the best thing to do is to take the medication as prescribed and monitor for any severe symptoms. He also suggested keeping a log of any side effects and changes in health. If anyone has any tips for dealing with some of the side effects, I'd love to hear them!

Prednisone has been a lifesaver for my asthma. The side effects aren't fun, but they're worth it to breathe normally again. Just make sure to stay in close contact with your doctor and report any changes.
