I was prescribed Requip XL 2mg Tablets for my Parkinson's disease, and I'm curious about others' experiences. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'm particularly interested in hearing about side effects and how well it manages symptoms. I've read about the potential for both urgent and more common side effects, so I'd love to know if anyone has dealt with any of these or has tips for managing them. Additionally, I'm wondering if taking it once a day has been effective for others, given that it's an extended-release form. Thanks in advance for sharing your stories and advice!

Dizziness and excessive sweating are what I experienced when I started. My doctor said it will subside and it did, but don't get alarmed like I did. Just give it some time and your body will adjust. I think it really helps with my Parkinson's disease, especially the movement symptoms.

Just a heads up, I had some serious hallucinations when I started taking this. It was really scary, like seeing things that weren't there. Had to stop taking it because it was too much for me to handle. Talk to your doctor about all the risks before starting this medication.

I had a really bad reaction to Requip XL. I started getting these uncontrollable urges to gamble, which was scary and I never experienced something like this before. I had to stop taking it. Just be aware of that potential side effect, it's not common but could be dangerous for some people.

I've heard some scary stories about Requip XL, but honestly, my experience has been pretty good. I had some stomach issues at first, but they went away. I think it works well for managing my Parkinson’s symptoms. I try to take it at the same time every day so I haven’t noticed any major issues with forgetfulness or mental changes.

I had to switch to a different medication because of joint pain and nervousness. It was too much for me to handle. I think everyone's experience can be different so it’s important to stay in touch with your doctor. I hope you find something that works without too many side effects; it can be really challenging.

My doctor told me to watch out for sudden sleep attacks, which is good to know in advance. I haven’t had them but it’s good to be aware. I think the side effects are pretty manageable as long as you're prepared for them. Requip XL has been a game-changer for me, though.

I’m really nervous about trying this medication because the list of side effects is so long. Has anyone had any serious issues with it? What should I watch out for? I’m really apprehensive and would love some reassurance or tips.
