I've been prescribed Enoxaparin 80mg/0.8ml Syr(10x0.8ml) after a recent surgery and I'm a bit nervous about the injections. Does anyone have experience with this medication? What are the most common side effects? Any tips for making the injections less painful? I’m also curious about how long it typically takes to see the effects and if there are any lifestyle adjustments I should make while on this medication.

You can use the pinch method to administrator the injection. Just pinching up an inch of flesh, and it’ll hurt less. Good luck! It’s a must on this stuff.

Be very careful with bruising and bleeding. I had to stop taking it because I kept bruising easily and it was scary. Make sure to monitor for any unusual symptoms and talk to your doctor ASAP if you notice anything off. If you bleed excessively from a cut or minor injury, get help immediately.

I had to use Enoxaparin after a knee surgery and I was terrified at first. I found that using a smaller needle helped a lot with the pain

I've been on Enoxaparin for a few weeks now and honestly, the injections aren't too bad. Just make sure you're injecting into the fat layer under the skin and not into muscle. I use a bit of numbing cream to minimize discomfort, and it makes a big difference. Also, switch injection sites every 24 hours to avoid irritation. Good luck!
