I've recently been prescribed Opsumit 10mg tablets to help manage my pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). From what I understand, this medication helps relax blood vessels in the lungs to make it easier for the heart to pump blood. However, I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones like allergic reactions and liver problems. Has anyone else been on this medication? What were your experiences, and how did you handle the side effects? I want to feel prepared but I'm also worried, I would appreciate any insights or advice!

I was on Opsumit for about a year. The side effects were manageable for me—mostly headaches and a bit of a stuffy nose. But I did have to be vigilant about monitoring for more serious issues, especially since I had a history of liver problems. It's crucial to stay in close contact with your doctor and get regular check-ups. DO NOT IGNORE ANY SHORTNESS OF BREATH!

Just remember, everyone's body reacts differently to medication. What might be a minor issue for one person could be a big deal for another. Always listen to your own body and don't hesitate to talk to your doctor about any concerns.

Just started Opsumit last week. So far, so good! I have heard the most serious side effects are quite rare. Still, I'm going to keep a close eye out for any signs of trouble. Fingers crossed!

I wish they'd come up with a version of this that didn't have so many side effects. It's a bit of a trade-off, but I guess it's worth it if it helps with the PAH. I just hope they find something better.

I've had a few bouts of bronchitis since starting Opsumit, but nothing too serious. I just make sure to stay on top of my inhaler and take it easy when I need to. The upside is definitely worth the occasional flare-up.

Opsumit saved my life. I was on my last legs before I started taking it. I started having really bad shortness of breath and chest pain, and I could barely do anything without feeling wiped out. It was terrible. I started Opsumit, and within a month I felt like a different person. DO NOT let fear of side effects keep you from taking this if you need it.

My doctor told me that if I experience any signs of a UTI, I should stop taking Opsumit and call him right away. It's a hassle, but better safe than sorry.

I couldn't believe how quickly Opsumit improved my ability to exercise. I went from barely being able to walk up a flight of stairs to actually being able to take short walks around the neighborhood.

Be careful with this stuff, I heard it can cause liver problems. I'd recommend getting your liver function tested regularly if you start taking it.

I've been on Opsumit for a few months now, and while I've had some headaches and nose irritation, it's been manageable. I'm also on a low dose which may help. I also take it with some food, which helps with the irritation in my gut. It's definitely helped with my PAH symptoms, though. Do you know if alcohol can interact with your Opsumit?
