I was recently prescribed Vyvgart 400mg/20ml Injection for my generalized myasthenia gravis and I've noticed it has improved my muscle strength significantly. It's given by infusion into a vein and works by reducing the amount of certain antibodies in my blood. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this treatment? I'm also really concerned about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones. What should I be most wary of and how can I manage any issues that come up? . It seems like a lifesaver but I also know it's serious to get it done in a clinic or hospital. I'm grateful I have access to a good clinic, but it's still a lot to handle.

I've heard some people have severe reactions. Just be prepared and know the signs. It's a lifesaver.

I've been on it for a year now and it's been a lifesaver. But yeah, the side effects can be rough. Just stay in close contact with your doctor and you'll be fine.

Be prepared for the side effects. I experienced a bit of a headache and muscle pain after my first infusion, but it went away after a couple of days. Just stay in touch with your doctor and report anything unusual. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, like rash or trouble breathing, seek medical help right away.

I got lucky and only had a headache after my first infusion. But I've had friends who had to go to the ER because of a bad reaction. Definitely take it seriously.

I've been on Vyvgart for a few months now and it's been a game-changer for my muscle weakness. The infusion process is a bit uncomfortable, but the results are worth it. Just make sure to stay hydrated and rest afterwards. The most important thing is to make sure you can call someone if you feel bad and be in a safe environment. I always have to bring a book or something so I don't get bored during the infusion.

Just remember, everyone's experience is different. What works for one person might not work for another. Stay positive and hope for the best.

Did you have to do a lot of tests before starting? I’m worried about all the prep work.

I think it's a good idea that it's given in a clinic. Some of the side effects sound like they could get really bad. Good luck!

The infusion itself is pretty straightforward, but the prep work and monitoring can be a hassle. This is why I've been really careful to make sure I get the prescription right when I know I can go do the infusion and then rest. The doctor had to make sure how serious I was about wanting the treatment. Make sure to get some good snacks and water for the infusion too!
