I've had this a few times post-surgery. It's great for keeping everything balanced, but the injection site can get pretty irritated.
If you ever feel confused or really tired after getting this, make sure to let your doctor know. Those can be signs of fluid and electrolyte problems.
I wish I could avoid hospitals but sadly it's something I have to do quite often. This IV fluid did help me feel better very quickly. Thanks for this post!
Can you believe it has to be given directly into the vein? makes total sense but I always wonder how would it be if it was taken orally.
