I’m currently pregnant and my doctor recommended Westgel DHA Softgel Capsules. I’ve heard a lot about the benefits of DHA and the other nutrients in these capsules for both mom and baby, but the list of possible side effects is a bit worrying. Has anyone else taken these? I’d love to know if the benefits outweigh the risks and if anyone encountered any adverse effects. Also, how do they compare to other prenatal vitamins?

I had diarrhea and vomiting for a while after starting these. I thought I'd try something else. Maybe I'm more sensitive to iron or something?
I had a really bad reaction to these. Developed a rash and had trouble breathing but thought it was just a coincidence. Then, I noticed the swelling and called the doctor immediately. Turns out it was an allergic reaction. That’s serious business. Stick to other brands!
Yes, I've been taking these. No problems so far and I believe the DHA is really helping with my energy levels. Just don't forget to check for any changes in stool color. It was weird at first, but the doc said it was normal.
I took Westgel DHA Softgel Capsules throughout my pregnancy and while breastfeeding. I didn't experience any major side effects, just a bit of constipation here and there. But my baby's health checks were always fine and the pediatrician said her brain development was on track. Definitely worth it!
Just curious, does anyone know if these capsules are safe for women who are trying to conceive but not yet pregnant? I want to start early.
