I've recently been prescribed Disopyramide 100mg Capsules to manage irregular heartbeats. I know it works by affecting the electrical signals in the heart, but I'm curious about others' experiences with this medication. What side effects have you encountered, if any, and how have you managed them? Have you noticed any improvements in your heart rhythm? Are there any tips you can share to make taking this medication easier? I'm also interested in learning about any lifestyle changes that might help complement the effects of this drug.

I've been on Disopyramide for a few months now, and it's been a bit of a rollercoaster. The most annoying side effect for me has been the dry mouth. I've started using a humidifier at night and keeping a water bottle with me all the time. It's helped a lot. Also, I've noticed some dizziness, but it's manageable. As for my heart rhythm, it's definitely improved. Just remember to take it exactly as prescribed and keep in touch with your doctor!

I had to stop taking Disopyramide because of the constipation. It was just too much to deal with. But before that, I did notice that my heart rhythm was more stable. If you're experiencing the same issue, talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose or trying a different medication.

I've been on this for a while and the side effects have gotten better over time. Just be patient and stick with it. If the side effects are too bad, talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose.

I find that staying hydrated and eating smaller, more frequent meals helps with the stomach issues. I also make sure to get plenty of fiber to combat the constipation. It's definitely a trial-and-error process, but it's worth it to get my heart under control.

I take my Disopyramide with breakfast and it helps with constipation. Might be a good trick to try. I used to work in a pharmacy, so I've seen my fair share of these issues. Everyone is different, though.
