I've been prescribed the Duragesic 12mcg/hr Patch for severe, ongoing pain, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. What's your experience with this fentanyl patch? How effective is it for continuous pain relief? What kind of side effects have you encountered, and how did you manage them? Also, any tips on applying and removing the patch would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing your stories and advice!

I've had a few issues with the patch falling off, but I found that using a clear adhesive tape or the special adhesive coverings they provide in the package helps keep it in place. Just be careful not to use anything that could irritate your skin.

I switched to the Duragesic patch from oral opioids, and it's been a game-changer. No more nausea and I feel more alert. Don't be afraid to give it a try if you're struggling with severe pain.

The patch has been a lifesaver for my severe back pain, but the first time I used it, I had severe constipation. Turns out, increasing my fiber intake and drinking more water helped a lot. Also, make sure to rotate the application site to avoid skin irritation.

Severe dizziness...as in I could barely walk?

I can't believe the stuff doctors prescribe these days. I'm scared of everything. I don't want to be addicted to anything. I'd rather live with pain.

I switched to the Duragesic patch from oral opioids, and the difference has been amazing. No more nausea and I feel more alert. If you're struggling with side effects, talk to your doctor; they might be able to adjust your dosage or provide additional meds to help.
