I've been prescribed Xembify to manage my primary immunodeficiency, and I'm looking for more information about potential side effects. The doctor explained that it's made from human blood plasma and helps my body fight infections by replacing the antibodies I'm not making enough of. However, the list of possible side effects is quite long and alarming. Have any of you experienced serious side effects like severe allergic reactions, kidney problems, or lung issues? What about less severe ones like headache or stomach pain? How bad were they, and how did you manage them? Also, how does the injection process feel? Any tips for making it more comfortable? Thanks in advance for any insights you can share

I’ve had some muscle pain and joint pain since starting Xembify. I drink lots of water and use heating pads to relieve the pain. It helps that I know it’s common and not serious, but it’s still frustrating. I guess it’s worth it in the end, but if you have a bad day, you might not feel the same. This should be taken into consideration

My doctor was very clear about the potential side effects before I started Xembify. I've had some mild ones, but overall, I think it's helped my immune system a lot. Just be informed and stay in touch with your doctor. If your doctor is not helpful, get a second opinion. Always talk to the doctor first.

Wow, the list of side effects is insane. My cousin is having trouble with kidney problems. She is having changes in urine output. But how do you know if it’s the medicine or something else? Is the treatment always necessary and is not only Xembify the solution? Wouldn’t it be better to go natural and treat through a healthy diet

I've been on Xembify for about a year now, and honestly, the injection is pretty easy. It's a bit uncomfortable at first, but after a while, you get used to it. I had some mild side effects like headaches and fatigue, but nothing too serious. Always follow up with the doctor to make sure you are ok.

I've had severe allergic reactions to other medications, so I was really nervous about starting Xembify. I had to carry an epi-pen just in case but my doctor advised me with a lower dose and gradually increased it. Also, they kept me under observation for the first few infusions. I'm happy to report that I've had no issues so far and no serious side effects. I'm regular with the medicine and the doctor is monitoring my condition. Consider this option if you are scared too.

I had a really bad experience with Xembify. I had these weird muscle spasms. Now I am off it. But, I feel like I am more likely to catch a cold. I don’t know if going back on it is worth it. I just wish I had more information before starting. I hope others can learn from my experience.

I had no issues with Xembify. I had some shortness of breath during my first infusion, but the nurse said that happens sometimes and I continued to feel better. I haven’t had any problems since then.
