I've been taking Xgeva 120mg/1.7ml for the past few months to help with my bone issues related to cancer. The medication seems to be doing its job, but I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects. The list is quite long, and some of the serious ones, like low calcium and phosphate levels, are particularly worrisome. I've noticed some mild side effects like muscle pain and constipation, but nothing too severe yet. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Are there any tips for managing these side effects? Also, I've read about the increased risk of jawbone problems. If you're taking this drug, do you get regular dental check-ups? Do you know anyone who has experienced this side effect? If so, how did it resolve?

I’ve been taking Xgeva for about six months, and so far, so good. I’ve had some muscle pain, but it’s manageable. I’m just trying to stay positive and hopeful, but I'm constantly watching out for any signs of a bad side effect.

I think the severe and life-threatening side effects are very rare, so it's good to be aware but don't stress too much about them. For example, the risk of jawbone problems is there but manageable with regular dental check-ups. Remember, it's all about balancing the benefits and risks. Xgeva has definitely improved my quality of life. Talk to your doctor if you feel you're experiencing any side effects, no matter how minor they seem.

I’m glad to hear that it’s working for you! I’ve been lucky to avoid most of the side effects, but managing constipation has been a bit of a challenge. Anyone have any tips for that?

I'm glad this thread exists because I've been debating taking Xgeva for my bone issues. Hearing that some people have managed the side effects without too much trouble is reassuring. And if you're feeling really uncomfortable, call a doctor. I'm assuming it's better safe than sorry?
