I was prescribed Xodol 10-300mg tablets for post-surgery pain management. The medication has been effective in alleviating the pain, but I've been experiencing some concerning side effects. I've been suffering from constipation, dizziness, and to top it off, my skin has become really dry and irritated. It’s even itchy when I scratch, but I’m not getting any rash. Is this a common side-effect?

Be careful with this stuff. I had a friend who got hooked and it took years to recover. If you’re not careful, it can ruin lives.
Xodol worked wonders for me after my knee surgery. I didn't experience any of the severe side effects, but I did have to deal with some constipation. I found that increasing my fiber intake and staying hydrated helped a lot.
I had a similar experience but I can’t emphasize enough the importance of talking to your doctor. The doctor was really helpful in managing my symptoms. If you’re experiencing some pain relief and minor side effects, then it might be worth talking to your doctor before making any decisions.
I was prescribed Vicodin once and it was a similar experience. I had the dry mouth and itching. I think the issues were kind of temporary which was good because it was a short prescription. Was your case different?

This is a total hot take, but I think if you're in really bad pain, the risk of addiction seems worth it to get some relief. That's the tradeoff. Just be honest with yourself about how you're feeling, and monitor your consumption.
I’ve had some odd side effects, and I agree with the discussion on addiction and difficulty in breathing. However, I think it is important to mention that for some, the pain relief can be life-saving. If you look at the notes regarding low blood sugar, it makes you realize that the possibilities with this medication are incredibly vast.
